Proprietor Eddie Holley has a passion for beer and has successfully translated that into a beer lover’s wonderland offering hand-crafted beers exclusively (no Budweiser here!). The shop itself is a sensory treat with light and color and enough room that you can browse to your heart’s content while searching for the perfect brew. In addition to a multitude of bottles, you can also pick up the fixings for your own homebrew.
Holley is also stocking the place with good beer companions (most locally produced) — from cured meats from The Spotted Trotter and cheeses from Sweet Grass Dairy to hand-crafted pretzels and mustard as well as luscious dark chocolates from Cacao and jams from Gemini Jams. His support for local producers, of course, extends to local brewers as well. You’ll find beer from Sweetwater Brewing Company (Atlanta), Terrapin (Athens), Jailhouse (Hampton), and O’Dempsey’s (Atlanta), plus more in the pipeline.
Whether you’re looking for a new personal favorite, or trying to pick up a fun gift for your favorite beer fanatic, stop by Ale Yeah! Eddie’s a great fount of knowledge and happy to share his expertise.
